About

We put our children at the heart of all we do.

01

Our Story

Little Treasure began in Marsascala in 2016 with a simple goal: to create a childcare environment where children feel genuinely cared for, understood and at home. Since then, we have grown alongside the families who have trusted us, opening our Żebbuġ centre in 2023 and fully renovating Marsascala in 2025. While our centres have evolved, the heart of Little Treasure has remained the same — putting children and the relationships we build with them at the centre of everything we do.

Our Approach

We believe quality childcare begins with understanding each child as an individual. Rather than expecting every child to learn, play or settle in the same way, our team observes, listens and adapts to their needs, interests and pace. Through strong relationships, meaningful play and everyday experiences, we create opportunities for children to feel secure, become more independent and enjoy their early years.

03

Growing Together

Childcare works best when families and educators work together. We value open communication with parents and believe their knowledge of their child is an important part of the care we provide. As children grow and their needs change, we continue to listen, adapt and work together — creating consistency between home and childcare and a positive experience for the whole family.

Our Team

At the heart of Little Treasure is a caring and dedicated team who understand just how important the early years can be. We take the time to get to know each child, build trusting relationships and create a sense of familiarity and belonging. By working closely together and with our families, our team helps make Little Treasure a place where children can feel comfortable, confident and truly cared for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your childcare centres located?

Little Treasure has two childcare centres in Malta, located in Marsascala and Żebbuġ.

Yes. We encourage families to book a visit to explore the centre, meet our team and get a feel for the environment before registering their child.

Both our Marsascala and Żebbuġ centres are open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 5:30pm.

We welcome children from 0 to 3 years of age at both Little Treasure centres.

Yes. Both centres have good-sized outdoor play areas, giving children opportunities to enjoy fresh air, movement and outdoor play as part of their day.

We believe every child should guide their own transition. Settling in is approached gradually, allowing children the time they need to build safe and secure relationships with our team. We also work closely with parents and involve them whenever additional reassurance or support may help their child adjust.

Parents provide their child’s daily lunch, meals and personal necessities, such as nappies, extra milk where required and a spare set of clothes. Each month, we also ask families to provide 2 packs of wipes, 2 boxes of soft tissues and 1 box of disposable gloves.

No. Parents prepare their child’s meals and snacks according to their individual preferences and dietary requirements. This also allows families to maintain control over the foods their child eats while attending the centre.

There is currently a €100 registration fee. There are no additional recurring monthly fees. From time to time, a small contribution may be requested for special activities or outings, such as organised trips or special treat days.

Start by choosing your preferred Little Treasure centre and booking a visit. Our team will show you around, answer your questions and guide you through availability, registration and your child’s settling-in journey.

Availability can vary between our Marsascala and Żebbuġ centres and according to your child’s age. Contact our team with your preferred centre and required start date, and we’ll be happy to check current availability for you.
